The Foundation is...

  • Your foundation (As a member of your Kiwanis club, you are automatically a member of the Foundation)

KIWANIS DISTRICT PROJECT: THE KIWANIS PEDIATRIC TRAUMA INSTITUTE (KPTI)

In 1994 the Kiwanians of our District entered into a joint venture with The Children's Hospital in Denver to create KPTI. Adopted at a district convention, KPTI is a service project of the Rocky Mountain District of Kiwanis International.

KPTI advances the prevention of traumatic injury to children through education programs and improves the survival of children who become trauma victims.

Kiwanis provides funds to support programs and research, not patient care or facilities.

KPTI is recognized nationally for the impact it is having in the Rocky Mountain region.

KPTI IS OURS; IT HAS OUR NAME

Examples of a Legacy contribution include:

  1. A bequest in your will or trust,
  2. Designating the Foundation a beneficiary of an IRA, a 401(k) plan, or an insurance or annuity policy,
  3. Written instructions to your family to make a specific contribution from your estate.

FOUNDATION HONOR CLUB BANNER PROGRAM:

Clubs meeting the specific criteria for eligibility are presented with the prestigious HONOR CLUB BANNER. This banner includes name patches of all Lusche Fellows and Grand Teton Helping Hand Award recipients in the club.

A Club with 31 or more members must have at least 1/3 of its members in the Lusche Fellowship and/or are recipients of the Grand Teton Helping Hand Award. A club with 30 or fewer members must have a minimum of 10 members who are members of the Lusche Fellowship and/or are recipients of the Grand Teton Helping Hand Award.
