The 2009 Stars of Tomorrow District Show will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2009 at Castle View High School in Castle Rock. The Rehearsal will be at 8:00 a.m. and the Show will begin at 1:00 p.m.

1st Place – $1,000 – Sam Platts, Division 13, Kiwanis Club of Platte Valley, Wyoming, Age 17, 11th Grade, singing, playing the guitar and harmonica “Cowboy Ghosts” an original composition.
2nd Place – $ 750 – Brock Tjosvold, Division 6, Kiwanis Club of North Platte Valley, Nebraska, Age 17, 11th Grade, playing “Fantasie – Impromptu” by Chopin (on the piano).
3rd Place – $ 500 – Amee Tan, Division 15, Kiwanis Club of Castle Rock, Colorado, Age 14, 9th Grade, playing “Three Fantastic Dances” by Shostakovich (on the piano).
1st Place - $1,000 - Robert Dong, Division 16, Kiwanis Club of Fort Collins, CO, Age 17, 11th Grade, Playing Toccata by Aram Khachaturian (on the Piano).
2nd Place - $ 750 - Brock Tjosvold, Division 6, Kiwanis Club of North Platte Valley, NE, Age 16, 10th Grade, Playing Sonata #8 in C Minor by Beethoven (on the Piano).
3rd Place - $ 500 - Kayla Rauzi, Division 13, Kiwanis Club of Rock Springs, WY, Age 17, 12th Grade, Singing Habanera from Carmen by Georges Bizet (sung in French).
